6" Knife Edge File Cut 1 Grobet Swiss Precision is a Grobet Swiss Precision File designed for detail work, delicate finishing, and precise metal removal. They have strict manufacturing tolerances, are uniform in taper, points, sharp edges, dimensions and flatness. This 6" length is the length of the cutting portion of the file. The handle section (tang) is not included in the file length. Knife Edge files are tapered width and thickness, with the knife edge having the same thickness from point to shoulder. The included angle of the sharp edge is approximately 10 degrees. Generally used to file a slot or wedge shaped opening. Curved knife allows for easily filing restricted areas. Double cut on both sides. Top edge is safe. Knife edge is single cut. Length is 6" (152 mm). Width is 23/32" (18.3 mm). Thickness 5/32" (4.0 mm). Available in Cut 1.
