Battery, Pulse and Coil Tester Tests silver oxide (both low & high drain) batteries, plus lithium watch batteries. In addition this unit tests for the pulse "output" of the quartz movement. Watch is placed down on the tester. At this time the tester should beep at 1, 5, 10, 20, 30, or 60 seconds depending on the movement. If the battery is good and no pulse is detected, then your watch needs repair to the electronic side of the movement. In addition this tester is supplied with 2 detachable leads, which allows for the testing of the continuity of the coil of the quartz watch movement.
