This precision rack-press is equipped with a slide to block or free the rack. It is an exceptional tool for watchmakers to fit glasses and bezels, close watch cases, and hold the glass on the case during bonding. The spindle type is double, dimensions are 80mm x 215mm x 185mm and it weighs 2kg. Designed for use with screw-on dies.
Usage:
- Free rack (slide ahead): Ideal for work on steel cases, thick or sturdy. Apply pressure using the lever equipped with anti-slip rubber; the return spring and fixed handle ensure controlled pressure.
- Blocked rack (slide behind): Perfect for delicate work on gold cases, thin or fragile. Lock the rack with the slide, then use the spanner to fit the glass or case back with precision (about 1.5 mm per rotation)
